Every child deserves a chance at the stage. At Emily Lefevre Talent Company, we produce professional productions for youth, teens, and select adult and blended-cast productions — no barriers, no fine print, no mandatory volunteer hours pulling you away from watching your kid shine.

No upfront audition fees. You only pay a participation fee once your child is cast — not before — and we keep it as low as possible. Scholarships are always available.

Emily Lefevre Talent Company (ELTC) presents Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical Jr. October 8, 9, and 10 at Liberty Barn Church, 7080 Olentangy River Road, Delaware, Ohio. Central Ohio youth and teen performers take the stage in this family musical about a brilliant, book-loving girl who stands up to the adults trying to hold her back.

Emily Lefevre Talent Company—Central Ohio’s home for youth and teen theatre—brings Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical Jr. to Liberty Barn Church in Delaware, Ohio, October 8, 9, and 10. This is ELTC’s biggest production of the 2026 season: a full-stage family musical packed with Tim Minchin’s iconic songs, big ensemble numbers, and a young cast from Westerville, Delaware, Powell, Lewis Center, Sunbury, Polaris, Dublin, and the greater Columbus area.

Matilda Wormwood is too clever for the family that ignores her and too brave for the school that tries to crush her. With Miss Honey at her side and a classroom of “revolting children” at her back, she proves that wit, courage, and a little mischief can rewrite the rules. Expect “Naughty,” “When I Grow Up,” and “Revolting Children”—the kind of night that sends kids home humming and parents home proud.

Liberty Barn Church seats about 300 and gives this youth company a real theatre experience: full staging, lighting, and an audience ready to cheer.
